Access Ability Arm
Access Ability Robot
Goal is to create recipe that serves those losing the use of their arms. Seeking people who like to code to help this mechanical engineer who codes poorly. Happy to provide whatever mechanical/electrical systems the team wants. My perception is that most of the work is piecing together the myriad libraries that facilitate computer vision and robot control with a �useful� machine interface. Also seeking those that need such devices so that we comply with �Nothing about us without us�. I have been assuming user in the loop. Which I think can be helpful in getting a system running now.
Mobile dock cleaner/protector
This would be a smallish wheeled robot similar to Roomba that would drive around on a dock and discourage birds and other animals from loitering. It would ideally also have water and scrubbing capacity to clean the surfaces from things dropped thereon.
Wheelchair control/guidance
It is my perception that wheelchair control is difficult for those losing the use of their arms. Watching others try to control their chairs with their heads and sip/puff mouth control significantly frustrated me as an engineer. I know better is possible. Love what they are doing over at �Luci�. In particular, dealing with uneven surfaces and reducing needed user input interest me.
